Filmmaker - Musician - Actor - Artist

Madelyn Morris is a filmmaker, actor, musician, photographer, and artist based in London. In 2025 their production company, Waistcoat Pictures, released its first feature film titled, 'On Hold'. While being the writer, director, producer, editor, composer, DP, primary camera operator, and colour-grader of the film, they also acted in the film as one of the main characters, 'Tara'. They co-founded Waistcoat Pictures in 2023, a production company employing women, non-binary, and queer people. The goal of founding the company was to make spaces where stories could be told about and by people from underrepresented groups in the film industry, and to equip young creatives with the tools and experiences to help them in the industry. They are currently studying at the National Film and Television School. They trained previously at the Oxford School of Drama and at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
