Madelyn Morris is a filmmaker, musician, and artist based in London. Having co-founded Waistcoat Pictures in 2023, a production company employing and focusing on the stories of women, non-binary, and queer people, they released their first feature film titled, 'On Hold' in October of 2025. 

 

They studied at the National Film and Television School on the Filmmaking Certificate Course in 2026, having previously trained at the Oxford School of Drama and the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

Madelyn independently writes, records, and produces music out their home studio. A multi-instrumentalist, they play the guitar, bass, piano, drums, tenor sax, and are a trained vocalist. They frequently do freelance photography work as well. They are proficient with industry standard software, specifically Avid Media Composer, Davinci Resolve, Logic Pro X, Pro Tools, Fairlight, and Final Cut Pro.
